• The Business Restructuring Plan is aimed at managers of SMEs and micro-businesses that want to improve their profitability
• Office Administration and Nail Beautician are the two face-to-face courses that will start in September for young people enrolled in the Youth Guarantee Program
Orihuela Chamber prepares the beginning of the course with training both for young people who want to learn the performance of a job and for people who already have a small and medium-sized or micro-business who want to improve their profitability. The president of the Orihuela Chamber, Mario Martínez, and the acting secretary of the chamber entity, José Adolfo Medina, have been in charge of publicizing the training offer whose main novelty is the implementation of online training, a consequence of the COVID-19 that was already launched in the last quarter of last year and that has come to stay.
The Business Restructuring Plan (PRE) for owners, managers and managers of the area of SMEs and microenterprises has 22 places and is financed by the Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Labor with the support of the Council of Chambers of the Community Valencian. It is therefore a free program for people who do it and has a duration of seven weeks. This year the program will take place between September 21 and November 6, from four to seven in the afternoon, on Mondays and Tuesdays. “This program combines joint training in the classroom of all participating companies as well as individual consulting, and has been designed so that it can be done online if necessary depending on the evolution of the pandemic,” he indicated Mario Martinez. The president of the Orihuela Chamber has stressed the importance of this type of program “that we have carried out in recent years to the great satisfaction of its participants and the Chamber itself, which manages to provide a useful response to the needs of our companies.”
The acting secretary of the institution has specified that the PRE addresses the situation of each organization at a global level, “a diagnosis is made, the strategy is defined and a viability plan is drawn up with which to obtain the highest possible profitability from each business , something very important taking into account the moment in which we live and the need to adapt our companies to changes ”. All the necessary information as well as the application for a place for this program can be consulted on the website of Cámara Orihuela (https://camaraorihuela.es/plan-reestructuracion-empresarial-2020/).
Regarding training for young people under 30 years of age who are enrolled in the National Youth Guarantee System, it is carried out, like other courses, through the PICE Program. In this case, Orihuela Chamber has both face-to-face training and online courses. In the first case, the Office Automation and Nail Aesthetics courses are scheduled to begin in September. To make them possible, in the Orihuela Chamber facilities an action protocol is applied with hygienic and sanitary indications to avoid contagion by COVID-19, and with the adaptation of the classrooms to a third of the capacity in addition to the mandatory use of a mask in all the facilities. In addition to these courses, other new ones are being prepared, such as that of hairdressing assistant that they hope to be able to launch at the end of the year or at the beginning of next year, as long as the situation due to the pandemic allows it.
Also for young people in the Youth Guarantee Program, free and with financing from the European Social Fund and the support of the Ministry of Labor and the Spanish Chamber are the online courses offered by the Orihuela Chamber and which can be consulted on the web https: //www.camaraorihuela .es / comprehensive-qualification-and-employment-program-pice/. “It is a varied offer with which our young people can learn to carry out a profession, because more and more companies are demanding trained people,” said Martínez. In this case there are about 30 courses focused on different sectors such as IT, education or hospitality, among others. It is a personalized and continuous training and the Orihuela Chamber Programs department indicates that they are opened when a person requests them if necessary.
The president of the Chamber has encouraged interested persons to contact Cámara Orihuela “and our team will assist and advise them on the training that can best be adapted to each profile, as well as the needs of the companies in our territory that can also benefit of aid when they hire young people trained through PICE ”. In addition to the web, you can call 966743502 or send an email to emprendedores@camaraorihuela.org and programa@camaraorihuela.org to receive information about any of the courses to be taken. “We cannot put training aside because we live in a difficult situation for employment and the best way to deal with it is by having qualified personnel”, Mario Martínez concluded.
