Once the plenary session was constituted with the taking of office by the members, the only list presented was voted, the one led by the president of the institution, Mario Martínez, who will hold the post for the next four years. Martinez will count on his Executive Committee with Pedro Mancebo Gilabert to occupy the first vice-presidency; Francisco José Rufías Santos for the second vice-presidency; José Antonio Barberá will act as treasurer and the members are Raquel Jiménez Arenas, Raymond Kearney, Gonzalo Pedrera, Francisco Javier Ortuño Ruiz and Cristina Torres Galindo.
The conseller chose to be in charge of making some reflections at the beginning of the Plenary, to leave the closure to the president. In his words, he thanked the work carried out by the outgoing Executive Committee “that has managed to revitalize the House in this year and a half”, while highlighting the consensus in the election of the members of the plenary as well as of its new executive body. Rafael Climent has ensured that this shows “that we are working well and that we want to work as a team, because the Chamber of Commerce has to work hand in hand with the business community in the region to improve the day to day of citizenship.” The regional leader has indicated that in this way “maximum social welfare is achieved, boosting the
economy, in short the maximum objective for which any person working in an institution has to work, which is to unite society “. Rafael Climent has concluded putting the conselleria at the disposal of Cámara Orihuela and its entrepreneurship. And it has guaranteed its support and that of the Conselleria de Economía Sostenible that presides over the management and future development of the Oriolan institution.
