Cámara Orihuela has closed the school year with the delivery of diplomas to young people who have completed the courses of Waiters (third edition) and Personal and Image Care. Since January, the institution cameral oriolana for different specialties to 44 boys and girls between 16 and 29 years enrolled in Youth Guarantee through the courses of Employment and Training Plan PICE Spain Chamber and co-funded by the European Social Fund.
The coordinator of the program, Noelia Hernández, has been in charge of delivering the diplomas and thanked the students for their commitment, while encouraging them to continue training for the job search. Cámara Orihuela made, before starting the courses, a study of the needs of the companies of its territorial scope with the aim of equipping young people with the necessary skills to perform the positions that are needed. Thus, three editions of the course of waiters have been carried out, one of the realization of web pages and digital marketing and another of personal image and customer service.
The president of the institution, Mario Martínez, has assured for his part that it is the intention of Cámara Orihuela “to continue training our young people in different specialties, with the aim of preparing them for different jobs”. In fact, the labor insertion in companies of the students has been achieved in many of the cases.
Martinez has indicated that from the next school year will continue to develop courses of this type “based on the needs that we raise from the companies.” At the same time, it has encouraged all the people in the age group of 16 to 29 to register for the Youth Guarantee, “because it is an essential requirement to participate in the PICE courses”.
