Cámara Orihuela has organized a meeting in the facilities of the Business Incubator attended yesterday by the General Director of Commerce and Consumption of the Generalitat Valenciana, Natxo Costa, and representatives of different commercial associations (ACMO, ASUCOVA and the Association of Entrepreneurs of Orihuela Costa ), as well as technical staff of the Oriolan City Council. This meeting was aimed, as explained the president cameral, Mario Martinez, “to publicize the aid that plans to launch shortly the Ministry, subsidies to which the Oriolan trade must be supported.”
Martinez has specified that “the future, especially that of local commerce, depends on the push of the merchants, but also on the support of the institutions, and in the case of the Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Labor we have that support that the CEO has precisely put on the table. ”
Natxo Costa has thus given an account of this line of trade aids that he expects to be launched during the month of November with the publication of the bases and has emphasized that “all the projects that are submitted will be taken into account. , but those that promote associationism or values such as sustainability will prevail “. Costa has encouraged work to be launched “jointly between associations, municipalities and entities, but taking into account that this work in common will be valued very positively”.
The aid can reach 25,000 euros per entity and year, subsidizing a maximum of 70% of the total project, including VAT. As main novelty with respect to previous calls is that they can be computed within the aid the expenses of the technical staff that can work on the project.
The Director General of Commerce and Consumer Affairs has also taken the opportunity to inform the representatives of the merchants of the implementation of the first Sectorial Action Plan for Trade in the Valencian Community (PATSECOVA) through which it is sought that municipalities have tools to to be able to carry out a good commercial planning. In this sense Mario Martinez has said that it is “an opportunity to work in common between municipalities so that they mark the business models to follow, something that will help the development of urban trade, but also to define territorial models.”
Meeting with Compromís
Prior to the meeting with the merchants, Mario Martínez received in the Business Incubator several representatives of Compromís, a meeting made possible by Natxo Costa. They attended the spokesman of this formation in the Provincial Delegation, Gerard Fullana, and the one of Compromís in Orihuela, Cayetano Portuguese. As in the rest of the meetings with political parties, the Vega Baja infrastructure issues that concern the Chamber as well as the allegations and proposals to the Uneix Plan were discussed so that they can be taken into account from Compromís.
