Cámara Orihuela approves the 2018 budget that affects the development of employment programs.

The Plenary of the Chamber of Commerce of Orihuela has given its approval to the budget of the entity for next year, a document that has five cornerstones: the development of the projects of Spain Chamber supported by European Funds, programs that come directly of the Generalitat Valenciana through the Council of Chambers, the revitalization of the Business Incubator with the cession of spaces and offices, the processing services of the Chamber (certificates of origin and free sale and bulletins of light and water), as well as the own production actions that are developed through our Pateco office and the Chamber itself, with workshops, work days, etc. Focused especially on the creation of employment for both the youth sector and for those over 45 years.

The second vice president of the entity, María José Garrido, was in charge of presenting this morning the budget accompanied by the president of Cámara Orihuela, Mario Martínez. Garrido has stressed that emphasis will be placed on the promotion of employment with actions aimed at the youngest through the PICE, under 30s and also this time to those over 45, “three sectors whose employability worries us ” On the other hand, he explained that programs related to innovation and new technologies are being developed, such as Innocámaras and TIC Chambers, “while a strong commitment is also being made in the area of ​​internationalization to enable our companies to be competitive. also outside our borders. ”

Garrido also reminded that next year the Club Cámara in Orihuela will be launched with specific offers for the companies that are part of it and that will pay an annual fee with which they will obtain both qualitative and quantitative advantages in the services provided .

With all this is expected to achieve an income of 209,790.56 euros that will serve to cover all the cameral activity, with an approximate forecast that the surplus at the end of the year can reach 10% of turnover. Given that the chambers are a Public Law Corporation dependent on the Generalitat Valenciana with the objective of providing non-profit services, the surplus will be reinvested in increasing the number of companies that work with the Chamber as well as actions that generate services .

For his part, the president of Chamber Orihuela, Mario Martinez, stressed that it is a “real and balanced budget, with the advantage over 2017 that the team of Chamber Orihuela already knows where to put the accent.” Martinez has reported that they are figures consistent with the reality of “an entity that had been paralyzed for two and a half years,” and has indicated that “our goal is none other than to provide services to companies in our field and to people who want improve their training through our programs. ” He also did not want to stop saying that the purpose is “to eliminate the bankruptcy in which we took the Chamber and even generate a benefit for the institution that allows us to reinvest in new actions that generate services”.
