Umivale presents in Chamber Orihuela the novelties of the Plan Against the Labor Accident of the Generalitat

The mutual umivale has organized, in collaboration with Chamber Orihuela, an informative day aimed at freelancers, SMEs or companies with employees to present the Action Plan against Occupational Accidents 2019 published by the Valencian Institute of Safety and Health at Work (INVASSAT) and that includes the actions to be carried out in companies that have had accidents in 2018. The first vice president of the institution cameral, Pedro Mancebo, was in charge of welcoming the attendees and making available the facilities of Orihuela Chamber for any activity.

In the activity held at the Orihuela Chamber Business Incubator, the responsible for Occupational Risk Prevention of umivale, Silvia Sánchez, stressed that “the objective is to raise awareness among employers that industrial accidents, although they occur, can be avoided and , therefore, it is possible to reduce occupational accidents “.

The also known as “Plan Valencia” catalogs the companies of the Region in terms of the losses they have had and the comparison both with the incidence rate of their economic activity and with the average incidence rate of the Valencia Region. “With this information the Generalitat configures a table where it typifies companies within a group or another depending on the level of severity to mark a schedule of inspections to be carried out by the Invassat technicians or by the technicians of the mutual” he pointed Silvia Sánchez. “With these days, what we are looking for is to explain to the companies that are receiving notifications from Invassat the steps they have to follow to overcome the process satisfactorily and to be at their disposal to help them with everything they need.”
