Cámara Orihuela has been present again in the meetings organized each month by the Council of Chambers of the Valencian Community and IVACE International with representatives of other countries. In recent days, there have been two meetings at the Valencian Chamber of Commerce, last week with the Swiss Embassy and last Monday with the Embassy of Qatar. The objective of all these meetings is to coordinate efforts between both countries through the diplomatic delegations and the Chambers of Commerce to support the companies of the Valencian Community in their internationalization.
The representative of Cámara Orihuela with the Swiss delegation was Ascensio Pérez Ruiz, as advisory member of the Oriolan entity. Among the topics discussed were tourism, exports and logistics as a strategic point of possible private investments. The representative of the Swiss Embassy conveyed to those present that his is an open country, while highlighting the requirement of Swiss companies when establishing relations with other parts of the continent.
Cámara Orihuela defended the interests of the city and the region before the IVACE and the ICEX, in the case of the meeting with the Swiss of the whole province, being the only representation from Alicante. With regard to the meeting with Qatar, Francisco José Rufías, second vice president of the House Plenary Orihuela, and Cristina Torres Galindo, member of the Executive Committee, represented the institution. In this way and once again the cameral entity has served as speaker in Valencia to the business fabric of Orihuela and La Vega Baja before these two diplomatic delegations.
